There is a lot of lose rock as you acsend and descend so make sure you watch your footing and pick your spots carefully. Which isn't a bad thing but I would say this is a STRENUOUS hike all things considered. ![]() For me it was about two hours round trip. So, if you have some where to be afterward, leave yourself plenty of time. Not crowded at all.ĭepending on your location it is a bit of drive upwards of 30-45mins there and back. In fact with the last photo I put on here, you can see how far you've come and it's gnarly! You're even greeted by the American flag if you keep your eyes peeled. When you get to the top you have a breath-taking view of San Diego. You get to see a LOT of various rock formations. It is an amazing hike! The trails have great plant and animal life and the view hiking up is very cool. That being said there are some pros and cons of course. ![]()
